Our Values

"But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen."

2 Peter 3:18

Impact statement (what)

At TBCA it is our responsibility to clearly present the gospel of Jesus Christ to each student (John 3:16). Our desire is that each student will accept Christ as Savior (Acts 16:31) and grow in both biblical knowledge and spiritual maturity to develop a biblical worldview through the application of biblical truths in all aspects of life. (Luke 2:52)

Rationale (why)

At TBCA we strive to develop active Christians who honor God, reach the world for Christ, and serve others.

A TBCA graduate will be a growing Christian who is actively living his/her life to the glory of God, making godly life choices, more focused on who he wants to be rather than what he wants to do.

Impact Statement

At TBCA, we strive to prepare students to further not only their educational journey but their spiritual journey as well. The first step in building that foundation is an acknowledgment of the ultimate biblical authority in one’s life. As students increase their knowledge of academic content, they learn to integrate that knowledge with a Christian worldview to successfully develop solutions.

Students develop biblical discernment in academics with the desire to impact the world for Christ.

1. Students will reflect Biblical authority and integrity in academic content (Colossians 2:2-3)

2. Students will possess confidence in learned academic ability (Philippians 4:13)

3. Students will integrate academics with life experiences while developing spiritual maturity (1 Corinthians 10:31)

4. Students will participate in a continuous development of a concrete foundation for future academia (Proverbs 4:7, Ecclesiastes7:12)

A TBCA graduate will be able to think critically, to take ownership of his own learning, to attack issues from a variety of disciplines, and to view all of life and learning from the truth of Scripture. He/she will be equipped to move on to the next step in God’s plan for his/her life, whatever or wherever that may be.

Impact Statement

At TBCA we will provide varying opportunities. Students will be able to advance their talents through academics and the venues of drama, music, public speaking, art, journalism, athletics, and various clubs. Through these varying programs, students will recognize their talents and employ them for the cause of Christ. (I Corinthians 14:40)

To create well-rounded students that can reach their God-given potential and abilities. (Luke 2:52) Students will develop a skill set that will prepare them for God’s calling in their lives.

2. Students will develop an appreciation and will have an opportunity to participate in athletics. (Romans 12:1,2)

A TBCA graduate will recognize that God has a specific plan for his/her life. He/she will recognize that God’s plan includes a globally-oriented mindset and compassion for others who are both like him/her and different from him/her. He/she will show a deep and abiding respect for others and have a sense of urgency about caring for others in service to Christ.

Community & Servant Leaders

Impact Statement

Christian schools have the opportunity to develop servant-minded leaders. Triad Baptist Christian Academy seeks to assist and mold students to the example of Jesus Christ by the directive in Mark 10: 43-45 (…”for even the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”)

Students should be able to communicate their faith in Christ with influence and cohesion as they relate, lead, impact, and serve in their professions and in society.

1. Students will have the opportunity to serve in student-driven outreach opportunities in the local community. (Acts 2: 42-47)

2. Students will honor and connect contextually with those in our school and community in a Christ-like manner. (Titus 3: 1-11)

3. Students will have the opportunity to train in leadership through student government, conferences, and other school-related activities. (Ephesians 4: 11-14)

4. Students will develop a sense of community through school functions and retreats. (Hebrews 10: 24-25)

A TBCA graduate will be focused on the future with a respect for the past. He/she will be willing to take risks, to try new things, and make change occur. He/she will have healthy relationships and enjoy a life that is uniquely his/hers as designed by God when he/she was formed.
